Disney-Mania

Last year we went to Disney World and ended up buying into the Disney Vacation Club. My big thing about buying into it was to make sure that we could use it for other places besides just for Disney vacations, and as soon as I learned that you could, I couldn't encourage my husband enough to sign up.

We figure that Disney vacations are fun for all of us...we don't spend our entire vacation in the parks, we usually rent a car and go out to explore the area we're in...if we're in LA, we visit friends and next year when we go back to Florida, we'll be renting a car and travelling to Vero Beach for the last few days of our vacation.

Anyway, our next trip is at the end of August. We're spending a week in LA, visiting friends, and going to Disneyland. We're going to be doing Soak City on our first day there, and then in the middle of the week or towards the end, we'll be spending the day at Newport Beach - one of our favorite places to go in LA.

So yeah, I guess you could say that we are a "Disney Family" - people give us a hard time about it, and it used to bother me, but it's getting to the point where I'm starting to embrace it.

I don't know why I needed to get that off my chest and I'm done now!
